“Marianne Rigby was the obvious choice to lead the University of Melbourne Staff Choir project in 2019. As the Artistic Director, Conductor and Mentor for this program, her work was masterful as a musical leader on and off the podium.

Marianne engaged and empowered the staff choristers, the student scholarship choristers, the student administrative team, the student assistant conductor and student repetiteur with generosity and expertise.  Marianne curated a learning experience that allowed all participants to thrive, meeting them at the various levels of individual ability. She was always warm, positive, student focussed and ensured the learning was centred on the music and personal growth.”
